Event Details

Parties That Cook invites you to "Sizzle & Swirl," an exciting evening of wine tasting paired with a hands-on cooking class. Admission includes wine tasting and pairing with a menu of international appetizers. 

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a nibble and a glass of wine produced by Crushpad Winery. A presentation including explanation of key steps in the wine making process will follow. You'll enjoy a series of comparative tastings from Crushpad's library of ultra-premium wines exploring a unique wine-tasting theme that may include the wines of the Russian River Valley or blind tasting Rhone whites, for example. 

You'll then be treated to a lively introductory cooking lesson by the Parties That Cook chefs featuring tips such as the fastest way to dice an onion without a tear. Working together with other guests, you'll cook up an array of gourmet appetizers designed to pair with the wines. Each team will work on a recipe from the evening's tapas menu, all while sipping wine and listening to upbeat music. 

You'll then relax and have a chance to enjoy the "fruits of your labor"! After the event, we'll email you copies of the recipes and digital photos.

Curry Dusted Salmon Skewers with Yogurt Dipping Sauce
Peanut and Coconut Wontons with Sweet and Spicy Soy Dipping Sauce 
Albondigas: Little Meatballs in Almond, Garlic, and Parsley Sauce 
Crab Quesadillas with Cotija Cheese and Roasted Tomatillo Salsa*
Carmelized Onion, Medjool Date, and Melted Brie Crostini
White Chocolate Macadamia Sugar Cookies 


*We limit each event to 40 guests
*Vegetarian options can be accommodated with 5-day advance notice
